The Olate Dogs are the season 7 winners of America’s Got Talent, scooping up the $1,000,000 prize and headlining The Palazzo in Las Vegas.

Led by Richard Olate and his son Nicholas Olate, The Olate Dogs are a high-energy, fast-paced canine theatrical act filled with dog tricks, human acrobatics and humor. The 10 dogs in the troupe (many of them rescues) are all pampered members of the family and travel in their own air conditioned, tricked out trailer.

Richard Olate grew up in a poor family in South America where, as a young boy of 10, he rescued street dogs and discovered he had a talent for training them. By age 12, his dog troupe was supporting his entire family. At age 33, Olate found himself performing in America.

Since winning America’s Got Talent in 2012, The Olate Dogs have performed on FOX’s Cause for Paws, the TODAY Show, the Tonight Show and countless sporting events for the NBA, College Division 1, WNBA, MLB, MiLB and more. They have also starred in a series of short online films promoting shelter adoptions.
